How adoption works

Five steps from inquiry to welcome home

We move deliberately — it protects the cat and sets the adopter up to succeed. Most placements complete within two to three weeks.

Adopter meeting a cat during the adoption process
01

Inquire

Submit the online form for the cat you're interested in, including your living situation and household members.

02

Interview

A coordinator calls or video-chats with you about experience, routine, and expectations.

03

Meet & greet

Visit the foster home to spend time with the cat before committing.

04

Home check

A quick visit or photo walkthrough confirms the space is safe — screened windows, no open balconies.

05

Welcome home

Sign the adoption agreement, receive medical records, and take your alaga home with a starter kit.

Rescue & fostering

We answer the call, then find a temporary lap.

Circuit Community responds to reports of sick, injured, and abandoned cats across partner barangays, and relies on a rotating network of foster homes to bridge the gap between rescue and adoption.

  • Emergency intake for injured, orphaned, or maternity-ward strays reported by residents
  • Foster homes provide short-term care while a cat is vetted, socialized, and readied for adoption
  • Starter kits (litter, food, carrier) provided to every approved foster
  • Foster-to-adopt option available once a bond forms
Kapon program · TNR

Kapon is the intervention that actually ends overpopulation.

Our subsidized spay/neuter (kapon) clinics run monthly in partnership with local veterinarians, using Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats and low-cost slots for owned pets in the barangay.
